Last time Joel's parents visited us, Lily had a hard time warming up to them. So, this trip we were hoping she would do a little better. To our pleasant surprise, Lily is already letting both grandparents hold her. Here she is with each of them at Sea Life Park.
I don't have many memories of my own grandparents, except for my Dad's mom who is still living. Growing up in Hawaii, so far away from everyone made having a close relationship more difficult. So it is a great treasure for me to see my own children interact with their grandparents. What a special relationship!
