Day #167 - Hula Lessons

I grew up in Hawaii, but I never took one hula lesson. I may have danced it once in a May Day program, but I literally have only memories of watching hula dancing. So I am grateful that my girls have the opportunity to learn this graceful and beautiful art form. They are taking hula lessons with their cousin, Ileina this year. So far it has been a very friendly environment for them and a lot of fun. Since half of the hula is done with the hands, we may keep this in mind for Lily when she is older. :)
